Game Review: The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot (Beta)

This is my first game review. S'about my favorite thing. EPIC LOOT!

The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is a game that entered open beta three days ago. I've played it, and these are my thoughts on the matter. The game itself is a combination of Diablo and Dungeon Keeper. You play a citizen of Opulencia, a kingdom consisting of numerous flying castles. You can play as one of three classes.

If you couldn't tell by looking at the pictures, the game is a pretty comedic game. In the game, you have a castle that you can build and customize with traps and monsters to keep your loot safe. You can visit your friends' castles and raid them, and challenge your friends to come raid your castle. The game consists primarily of a single-player campaign in which you explore many different castles, killing everything that moves and taking all the treasure you can find. You progress through an area by completing a specific castle that houses a boss.

Grayphicks: I hate talking about graphics when it comes to video games, because, like a wise man once said, "Liking a game for its graphics is like liking a porno for the story." But I have to address the visuals with this game. As you can tell from the pictures above, it has a cartoon-esque feel to it. The visuals throughout the game are very charming and quirky, and just looking at the enemies has made me laugh. The characters are filled with personality throughout the game, making for an entertaining experience. The ambience in the different castles in fantastic, with the appearance of each castle varying based on its theme.

The Final Verdict: In all honesty, the game feels incomplete, but it is still a good time. It is fun, funny, and I would recommend it to anyone. Oh yeah, I forgot the best part. It's free, so if you have a PC there's no excuse for you not to play it. So go play it.
