In which the blogger discusses the toilet guy...

If you, the reader, are anything like me, then you appreciate a good story. I love stories, in all shapes and forms. One of my favorite kind of story is a story told in a video game, because(in some cases) they allow you to become a bit more immersed with the characters, the action, all that, because you are controlling part of it. Now, I'm not saying that all video games are like that, in fact, it is very rare to come across a game that has a great storyline. One game, or rather series of games, that has a great story is...
Got the logo from here.

Yes, The Legend of Zelda. Few games can compare to this masterpiece. With 15 installments currently released and a new one in the works, it is one of the longest running video game franchises ever. It's storyline is one rivaled by very few other games, and the different designs of the games are simply brilliant. But there are some things in this saga that just don't make sense. Things like the toilet guy.
Here is a picture I took of the toilet guy as he appears in The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.

The toilet guy has appeared in two games(that I know of), Oracle of Ages, and Majora's Mask. In both of them, he is in the hole of an outhouse in the game. You only ever see his hand, which is sort of unnerving, because you have no idea exactly who or what it is that is reaching out of the toilet. All he does is say, "Pa-paper? Do you have any paper?"
As far as I know, you can't actually give the guy paper, but it very well could be possible. This guy definitely isn't the only weird thing in the Legend of Zelda games, but to me, he is probably the weirdest of them all.
